Legal
Terms of use.
The rules for using this site and for taking part in RCOY MENA 2026 — written to be read, not skipped.
This page is not legal advice; have it reviewed by a lawyer before registration opens.
These terms
By using rcoymena.com you accept the terms on this page. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
The site is operated by the RCOY MENA 2026 organising team. It is an information site for the Regional Conference of Youth on Climate for the Middle East and North Africa.
Accuracy of information
We work to keep the information on this site correct and current, and we say clearly when something is provisional. Programme times, session titles, speakers and venue arrangements may change, and any page marked as a preview or as “to be announced” will change.
The site is provided as it is. We do not guarantee that it will always be available or free of errors, and we are not liable for loss arising from reliance on provisional information. Where a decision matters — travel, visas, accommodation — confirm it with us in writing first.
Applications and participation
Submitting a delegate, speaker or partnership enquiry through this site is an expression of interest. It does not create a place at the conference, and it does not oblige us to accept it.
Places are confirmed only by a written confirmation from the organising team. Selection criteria, deadlines and any participation requirements are published on the relevant page and may be updated.
Participants are responsible for their own travel documents, visas, insurance and, unless we state otherwise in writing, their own travel and accommodation costs.
Conduct
RCOY MENA is a youth conference with participants from twenty-two countries. We expect everyone taking part — on this site and at the conference — to behave respectfully. Harassment, discrimination, threats, and the sharing of other participants' personal information without their consent are not acceptable and may result in removal from the conference without refund.
You may not use this site to send unlawful, abusive or misleading content, to impersonate anyone, to attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, or to interfere with its operation.
Intellectual property
The RCOY MENA name and logo, the site's design, text and photographs belong to the organising team and its partner organisations, except where stated otherwise.
You may quote and share the conference's published outputs — the youth statement and policy paper — with attribution. Logos and photographs may be used for editorial coverage under the conditions set out in the press kit. Any other commercial use needs our written permission.
Material you send us
If you send us text, images or ideas — for example in a speaker proposal or a session submission — you keep ownership of them. You give us permission to use them for the purpose you sent them for: reviewing your proposal and, if it is accepted, running and documenting the session.
Do not send us material you do not have the right to share.
Photography at the conference
The conference is photographed and filmed for documentation and communication. If you attend, you may appear in that material. Tell the organising team on site if you do not wish to be photographed and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Third-party links
Links to other organisations' sites are provided for convenience. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or their practices.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; the current version is always the one on this page. These terms are governed by the laws of the Sultanate of Oman, and the courts of the Sultanate of Oman have jurisdiction over any dispute, without affecting any mandatory protection you have under the law of your own country of residence.
